The C.P. Company advertising campaign for Autumn/Winter 2011 is inspired by the world of American fashion magazines and the ‘50s’ Hollywood world. A style shoot with an editorial and cinematographic imprint, following the tradition of the great American icons, are used to describe this seasons images for C.P. Company.
For the second consecutive season C.P. Company has entrusted Phil Poynter with the campaign images, an English photographer who has worked for the past ten years together with the most prestigious international fashion magazines. His work ranges from fashion advertising campaign shoots, to celebrity pictures, and it is characterised by his unique style, which is both eclectic and elegant, strengthened by his experience of living in metropolis’s like London, Paris, Milan and New York.
The photographer decided to set the Autumn/Winter 2011 C.P. Company campaign in Paris on an imaginary ‘American film’ sets. The basic idea of the advertising campaign is to evoke the fascination of the past through the glamorous spirit of a magazine with a hint of Hollywood.
In the spotlight the protagonists of the scene are a group of guys dressed with a refined and unique style, which is a characteristic of the C.P. Company brand; leaning on antique cars while in the background there is simple and timeless industrial architecture.
The imagine of old school maleness is represented by young modern men who express a sophisticated manner while wearing casual yet functional clothing defined by detail and intense colour.
With the new Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign C.P. Company proves once again its character and identity while adapting itself to be stylish fashion
