The final piece in C.P. Company's Urban Protection line was the 'Solo' jacket created for Autumn Winter 1999. The piece was designed as a technical waistcoat which uniquely featured an adjustable flashlight that could be carried through loops on the back (as pictured below).
This highly innovative jacket was produced with wind-resistant pockets and a sliding belt with buckle closure. As with all pieces developed throughout the lifespan of the Urban Protection line, the Solo was constructed from Dynalfil TS-70 bonded to a nylon base and featured a removable C.P. Company brand patch in addition to the branded torch.
This design remains central to C.P. Company's archive and continues to inspire the current design team - Its focus on versatility and functionality has been reflected throughout the 40th Anniversary Collection.
