On Thursday 19th March C.P. Company and global men’s magazine PORT hosted an event to launch issue 16, taking place at the C.P. Company London flagship store located in the heart of Soho.
Issue 16 marks PORT’s transformation from a quarterly, into a fully-fledged biannual magazine, merging style with thoughtful, intelligent content. The cover features actor Josh Brolin of Inherent Vice and No Country for Old Men, who speaks to LA writer John Horn about working with the Coen brothers, mountain climbing, and mastering the art of baking.
Expanding the publication has allowed for more coverage dedicated to Spring Summer 2015 collections, as selected by PORT's fashion director David St. John-James. Long-time readers will also be happy to see that PORT sections have been further developed, including The Porter, Commentary, and Fiction.
"C.P. is a great modern heritage brand, much like PORT, and we are really excited about collaborating with them for the launch of our first biannual issue." Commented Dan Crowe, PORT Editor-in-Chief and Co-Publisher.
Crowe met with C.P. Company co-Creative Director Paul Harvey at the evening event and discussed both C.P. and PORT plans for the season ahead. Guests, including PORT collaborators and leading figures in the creative industries, enjoyed Jameson whisky cocktails whilst leafing through the magazine and browsing the C.P. Company SS15 collection.
