C.P. Company has collaborated with British rock star Sergio Pizzorno to create a special edition poncho.
Inspired by Pizzorno’s concept of ‘The Mind’s Eye’, he unveiled this unique piece live onstage for his band Kasabian’s headline performance at the Isle of Wight Festival on Friday 22nd June.
The collaboration has allowed Pizzorno to work closely with C.P. Company’s head designers to create a unique customisation of the brand’s iconic Mille Miglia Goggle Jacket. ‘The Mind’s Eye’ poncho presents a third goggle to represent the third eye, an inspiration central to Pizzorno’s music and stage performance.
C.P. Company designers Paul Harvey and Alessandro Pungetti created the design with Pizzorno using the brand’s newly developed high-performance fabric, Nyfoil. Taking design details from utility uniforms found in the brand’s archive, the poncho features a double bellow pocket with ‘C.P. Company & Sergio Pizzorno’ branding on the sleeve and back.
